President

Do you like organizing being a leader? Do you like to hang out with other dog lovers? If so, then this is a position for you! The El Dorado Dog Owners Guild (EDDOG) is looking for someone who to be the EDDOG President.

Description

The purpose of this position is to coordinate fundraising activities and tasks for EDDOG. The position reports directly to the EDDOG president.

Responsibilities

The President is responsible for the following:

• Perform as the chief executive officer for EDDOG.
• Supervise and control, subject to the control of the board of directors, the affairs of EDDOG and the activities of the officers.
• Perform all duties incident to his or her office and such other duties as may be required by law, by the articles of incorporation, or by the EDDOG bylaws, or which may be prescribed from time to time by the board of directors.
• Preside at all meetings of the board of directors unless another person is specifically appointed as chairperson of the board of directors and at all meeting of the members.
• Execute such deeds, mortgages, bonds, contracts, checks, or other instruments in the name of EDDOG, which may from time to time be authorized by the board of directors.

Person must enjoy working and socializing with other dog lovers and be willing to delegate tasks.
